Outlast 2, on the other hand, will bring players to an isolated rural community called Temple Gate. The tough-as-nails action-RPG from Team Ninja was originally released in 2017. Mind you, this dude is unlike any other samurai out there as he loves to throw ghost sharks at his enemies. Slightly marred by some dodgy textures and a couple of tiny bugs that will most likely be ironed out in the day one patch, this game is the horror experience of the year for me. If you are new to the game’s lore – or you want to stroll down memory lane – then this is a good chance to catch up on the Sengoku-era adventures of the samurai named William. Outlast 2 is a lesson in the first-person horror genre and Red Barrels has shown us that they can make lightning strike twice. The arrival of Nioh on PlayStation Plus comes alongside a beta test for the follow-up title Nioh 2.
